Don’t buy this POS from China. Check out the reviews. Don’t make the mistake me and others made. Holes don’t line up. Had to return.

I have a Spirit Upright XBU 55 that significantly makes a clicking noise when I increase the resistance level. Any suggestions? I live in Dallas, TX any place or company you think might be able to fix the problem?

I had the same problem , there is a sleeve inside the spirical bearing that had no grease on it , use regular EP 2 grease like for a wheel bearing coat both the inside and the outside of the sleeve , no need to tighten pass a full nut as the nut is a fiber locking nut

These are great elliptical machines, you get a good workout in little time. I’m usually done in 16 minutes. Smooth as well.

On step one the washer should be on the nut side of the incline rail assembly, not the outside

Can someone please help me I'm doing a pin test on my f85 and I'm getting a clicking and belt will not move. Please help

I have the F63 (SN 56381415....). It counts down from 3, 2, 1 and then the display says 0.5 mph but the motor/belt is NOT moving. 5 seconds later the console reads LS1 error. ALL Console controls (fan/incline) work/display before the LS1 error appears. The Control console can also alter the speed display but does not do anything to the motor. I disconnected the motor from the Control Board and used a 9V battery as a source of power for the motor to determine if the motor is bad. The motor runs. I then validated that the incline Up / Down lights on the board work as the unit is calling for an Incline command. I then found the PWM light and observed it when I press the Start button. The PWM light turns ON but then turns OFF about 5 seconds AFTER the 3 second countdown hits Zero. I attached my Multi-Meter to read voltage off the Control Board, after I disconnected the Red/Black motor wires for the Battery Test and do NOT read any D.C voltage when Powered On, during the Start/3 Second Countdown, or up to the LS1 error. I do not hear any "clicking" during /directly after the 3 second count down and not sure if there was a Relay that should do that or not? Note: I noticed a green LED light on all the time above the motor connection on the board. It appears to read Motor DRV. There is another LED light, not on, next to it that reads "Shut Down". Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Jay

In Europe, Dyaco has a very strong presence with Spirit and Sole. The quality of the product is very good with customer service to match and the best warranty 2-3 years. Machines serviced within 2-4 weeks, repaired at the customers house. Most of this is obligatory due to EU laws. Xterra is repaired "via mail", so more troublesome, but still it is being done in 2-4 weeks. Spare parts are available better than with other brands.

what if it centers but then after walking or running on it it shifts to one side?so you tighten both sides? how do you know if you are over tightening?

This is still mostly applicable in Sept 2021. Got one off their website, it was a great sale vs the big box stores I was seeing it at. Like almost a 1000 less. Took me and my wife about 2.5 - 3 hrs to assemble, the hardest parts were some of the wiring harnesses, and plastic covers/cupholder. We pulled out maybe a little too much through the main pipe and it was hard to put back in. We kind of put some of the excesses through the middle hole in the computer / display mounting plate, everything seems to work fine. Great machine. I've used it twice so far, at moderate intensity in our carpeted bedroom. I'm 6'6'' 285. Never felt uncomfortable. Super silky stride, and didn't hurt my back or previously torn MCL knee. My wife could barely hear it with the TV in the next room, unless the incline was changing, or the machine was beeping from user input (which we've since turned off). Don't expect much from the fan, but it's nice to have. The Tablet holder works great even with the thick case my wife has on her iPad.

Assuming the belt tension is correct? You may have overtightened the belt. Seems like tightened x turns on right needs a losses x turns on left.

Dyaco is a huge fitness company that sells under many brands and is almost a monopoly. They make decent machines with horrible support. What you will learn is they OEM to many other brands and those brands rely on Spirt for their support here in the US. Spirit support is awful. You call and wait on hold forever and then when you get someone they ask you to email info. You send the email and never hear back from them. They have no incentive to provide good support on the gear the OEM to other brands since you blame the brand maker you purchased from. For a US based support organization it ranks worse than many offshore support organizations. I have been fighting for 3 months to get my 4 month old treadmill fixed. What good is a 3 year warranty if they don't honor it. And they can blame covid all day long, poor planning and not stocking repair parts is not a covid issue, it is a company issue made worse by Covid. Dyaco goes unblemished as they hide behind the brand selling the OEM gear as well as Spirit's bad support.

PRESENTING VIDEO OF ASSEMBLING THE PARTS IS NOT VERY IMPORTANT. IMPORTANT IS PROVIDING DEMONSTRATION AND KNOWLEDGE OF ALL THE FUNCTIONS OF XBR 55.

I bought the "new" 2019 XBU55 as printed on box. While it is a pretty good bike, it looks way cheaper and is harder to assemble than this one was. The XBU55 has been manufactured with less quality than this old video. For example, the lack of parts that cover the rear stabilizer and wheels is much less nice. The rear stabilizer has only two bolts now. The rubber toeclips for the pedals are incredibly hard to install. This older XBU55 looks beefier than the new models. Slightly disappointed with Spirit but the exercise bike industry has a captive audience right now.
